21.07.2016 Greece: 8 Turkish military personnel fled failed coup

ALEXANDROUPOLI, Greece – Eight Turkish military personnel fled to Greece by helicopter after Friday’s failed coup.

The eight, who have claimed asylum in Greece, arrived by military helicopter on Saturday after sending a distress signal to authorities at the airport in northern Alexandroupolis.

18.7.2016 Greece: EU Commissioner Moscovichi in Athens

European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici is to meet with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and several ministers in Athens, Monday, July 18, 2016 in what is thought to be an unofficial start of the negotiations for the next bailout tranche.
